Ynthe & Craig – a love story rooted in sunshine, laughter, and saying “yes” together
Some love stories unfold slowly, quietly, and then all at once. Ynthe and Craig met in 2015 in a place they both loved — the beach. They moved in the same circles, crossing paths through mutual friends at events and gatherings, never quite knowing how closely their lives would one day intertwine.
It wasn’t until 2020 that something shifted. Their connection deepened, and their relationship moved from friendship to something much more personal. From living together in Rustenburg to weekend visits with their families, the rhythm of their lives began to align. They shared passions — early morning and late-night gym sessions, outdoor adventures, and ambitious life goals. The laughter never stopped, and the love just kept growing.
In May 2020, they made it official. And in 2024, Craig decided to make it forever. What was supposed to be a fancy breakfast turned into something far more unforgettable. The sun shone brilliantly over the beachfront as he got down on one knee. She said yes.
From market dreams to a farm wedding with heart
While planning the wedding, Ynthe and Craig had originally imagined something different. A rented space turned into a market-style celebration. But then they found The Stone Cellar.
“It was the second venue we visited – the first was a disaster,” they shared. “But when we walked into The Stone Cellar, we stopped looking. We said yes, together.”
The venue had everything they were looking for – a market feel, a modern but grounded atmosphere, and, most of all, something that just felt right. “There’s a realness to The Stone Cellar that’s hard to describe. When you walk in, you just know – this is your special day.”
Their wedding day: a flawless celebration of love
Ynthe and Craig describe their wedding day not as a moment, but as a seamless unfolding of joy. “From the morning preparations to the final dance, everything flowed effortlessly,” they said. “The most memorable moment of our wedding wasn’t just a single point in time, it was the entire day, unfolding like a dream.”
The day was full of meaning, magic, and love. And for them, there wasn’t one single highlight, every second stood out.
What they learned (and what they’d tell other couples)
Plan ahead, but don’t obsess over perfection.
Focus on what really matters: the two of you and the people you love.
Trust your vendors because you don’t need to do it all yourself.
Take moments throughout the day to soak it all in.
Invest in your photo and video team . “We watch our wedding video almost daily,” they said.
One thing they’re especially glad they did? Meeting with their coordinator before the wedding to go through the budget and final details. “Seeing the venue again and having that face-to-face time helped everything fall into place.”
And their one regret?
“We wish we had taken more time to be selfish, to just be together and breathe it all in. A wedding can be overwhelming. You want to please everyone, but it’s okay to step away and have a moment for yourselves.”
To Forever, and always
In 2025, Ynthe and Craig said “yes”. And not just to a venue, or a day, but to a lifetime of adventures, laughter, and silly moments. Their wedding was a reflection of their journey: grounded, joyful, and filled with love.
And now, they’re saying yes to forever.
