WHERE DO YOU START?
Some wedding venues offer fixed wedding packages to choose from. However, we believe that each wedding is unique. For this reason, we create a personalised quote for every couple.
Does This Mean You Can Calculate the Cost of Your Wedding at The Stone Cellar Before Booking?
Absolutely! There are four key components to consider when calculating the cost of your wedding at The Stone Cellar:
- Venue Hire Price
- Catering (Menu) Price
- Accommodation Price (Optional)
- Added Extras (Optional)
VENUE HIRE
The venue hire price depends on the type of wedding you select:
- Weekend Wedding
- Sunday Wedding
- Weekday Wedding (Monday–Thursday or Public Holiday)
- Dates with Discounted Rates
CATERING
Our menu price starts at R695 per person (2025/26 prices). This is the minimum amount you will pay per guest for catering.
Your wedding menu is entirely personal and as unique as you are. For this reason, we provide a menu you can build yourself. You will see a price next to every item in the menu. Simply select the items you want for your wedding, add up these prices, and you will have your cost per person.
Our menu is divided into the following sections:
- Welcome Drinks
- Canapés
- Plated Starter (Optional)
- Plated Option
- Family-Style Option
- Main Course
- Buffet Option
- Plated Option
- Family-Style Option
- Dessert
- Coffee & Tea
To calculate your catering cost, choose your preferred options from each section and add up the prices listed. This allows you to design a menu that perfectly suits your taste and budget.
ACCOMMODATION
You decide how many guests will stay over and whether they will stay on the night of the wedding, the night before, or both. While the total accommodation cost is included in your quote, your guests will likely pay for their own accommodation.
You have two options:
- Pay the total amount for accommodation to us and have your guests reimburse you.
- Have your guests pay us directly.
Choose whichever option is easiest for you.
EXTRAS YOU CAN ADD
From snacks while you’re getting ready to a shuttle service for your guests, or even a booze cruise on the tractor to the river, you can select extras to personalise your quote further.
